Guild Meetings

AQA holds many meetings during the month to fulfil the needs of our members.  Generally, they are as follows but members should always check their newsletter to be sure.

AQA Day Meetings

Bring your lunch (unless a shared lunch is advertised!), tea and coffee facilities are provided.  A $5.00 donation helps us to cover meeting expenses.

For insurance purposes, we request all members and visitors sign the attendance book when entering the hall. The library does not open until 10.15 am. Details about our next speaker are available in the monthly member’s newsletter.

A Sit and Sew Day (no meeting or library opening but details otherwise as above; $4 fee) will be held on the 3rd Monday of the month. This day may also be used for workshops, morning teas etc.

AQA Night Meetings

On the first and third Wednesday night of each month, a number of AQA members meet in the foyer of the church hall in Valonia Ave from 7:30-9:30pm. They are affectionately referred to as “The ladies of the night”!!!

Kaye Hardman coordinates the night meetings with the assistance of Alexa Collins.

We encourage and welcome members to come along for a few hours of stitching on these evenings.  The library is open from 7.30pm – 8.00pm.   Tea and coffee are available. It is a great opportunity for those who can’t make it to the day meetings to catch up on what is happening at AQA.
